Decipher our washing machine and WIN!

OK...let me get this straight. During the initial arrival into our accomodation on the 18th, we asked for instructions on how to work our washing machine. Our supervisor (who speaks fluent English and Korean I might add) and her colleague (who speaks Korean but limited English) had extreme difficulty figuring out the washing machine! So we were left hanging, but luckily one of the other teachers told us to use the second setting on the knob as it has worked for him so far. So we tried it today and it worked alright. The washing machine does not fill up all the way with water like the ones back home. It is shaped like a dryer with a glass window on the door and it spins a few revolutions then stops. While it spins, water sprays down and this continues for over an hour.

Anyways, if you can decipher the Korean on our washing machine, you will win a prize. I'm not going to tell you what the prize will be, but trust me, it will be worth your while (hint: it rhymes with kimchi):

Is this an LG brand? Because LG has an English "Washing Machine Owner's Manual" online at

I'll page through my Si-Sa Korean/English dictionary, too...and see what I might figure out. :)
