Exploring around Mokdong station

After work today we ventured around Mokdong station. We quickly realized that this was the heart of Mokdong, the business district. Why did it take us a week to discover this area? Oh, I know why! It's because we were spending all our time buying useless items and groceries at Carrefour (and taking pictures of the parking attendant--you all enjoyed that, admit it)!

Anyways, this was a bustling part of Mokdong that reminded us of the Asia that we have seen before. Lots of people on the street, not a lot of personal space, carnage on the roads and stores/restaurants galore. Adidas, Von Dutch (it's huge here, it's everywhere), United Colors of Benetton, Calvin Klein, Dunkin Donuts, McDonalds, Baskin Robbins, etc...the list goes on.

Pictures of a smaller side street in Mokdong, Yangcheon-gu (we almost became a statistic with the aggressive driving here down this street and the lack of a proper sidewalk):

My son just went over there for a year. His school is in Mok 3 Dong.
lol that's about all I know; he just got there Monday night. He said his apartment was about 5 minutes from the school.
