Butterfinger Pancakes...breakfast in Apgujeong

So after reading the review of Butterfinger Pancakes from The Korean Times, we decided to check the place out. This breakfast spot is located in Apgujeong, where Korean celebrities and the rich and famous like to "hang". Let's cut to the chase...what did we eat?

Butterfinger pancakes is located behind Burger King. Take Subway Line 3 to Apgujeong Station, take exit 2 and then head to Hak-dong Saggori. Cab fare is only 1900w and will save you a lot of time.

This place opened in early August:

It was jam packed when we got there...we had to wait 15 minutes for a table:

I ordered the Waffle Lovers Special for 13200w:

Devante got the Blueberry Pancakes; these should actually be a side order as they were pretty small:

Our friend HC got the Butterfinger's Favorites:

We walked back to Apgujeong Station from Butterfinger Pancakes. You will pass by the entrance to Rodeo Street:

The atmostphere was pretty nice, however the prices are higher than average. It was nice to have a western breakfast but I think next time I will be trying out another spot in Seoul.

For a really good western style breakfast, try Suji's in Itaewon. It's at the west end of the main Itaewon street near Noksapyeong station (line 6). The prices aren't cheap either but it's probably the best western breakfast in town.

I agree Suji's in Itaewon is delicious. Expect to pay a lot though.

The pancakes were light and fluffy. Prices are high - same at Suji's - but i think the quality and presentation at Butterfinger is better. During the week, no problem getting a seat.

Had a hell of time finding Butterfingers today! So for those of you who aren't familiar with Apgujeong, when you come out of exit 2 DO NOT WALK STRAIGHT! Turn around and yes walk forever (20 minutes) passing the Galleria on your left you will make an immediate right. Go up up up up that hill and near the crest you will see King Kong and the Burger King. Turn left and go in between those two landmarks up the alley way, walk less than two minutes and the Pancake haven is on your left.
Just cab it and say "Hak-dong Saggori" and they'll take you right to the King Kong/Burger King gateway.
